Blended by then President of Drew Estate, Steve Saka, the L40 is not your typical lancero. Steve did not want the normal, extra spicy and/or one noted lancero experience. So, he blended a cigar that could give the complexity and nuances that we expect in a Liga, but had to go with the 40 ring gauge to make the blend work as a lancero vitola.
Thus, the Liga Privada L40 was born. Medium-full to full strength and body, the L40 has a lot going on when smoked. There is a strong note of leather with notes of earth and cocoa mixed in, just to grab a few. These cigars are not limited edition, but they are limited in production and they sell out fast!
