Caldwell Murcias Especial
Caldwell Cigars Murcias is now the Murcias Iberian Express Especial. A reworking at Caldwell has turned the Junior Varsity brand into the Iberian Express brand. Due to a misconception that the Junior Varsity title meant Caldwell seconds, when that is not the case.
The Murcias Especial is a medium bodied blend. Peppery and cocoa flavors abound in this San Andres Maduro wrapped cigar, that is the same as the old Murcias. One of former Davidoff Master Blender William Ventura's Dominican brands prior to being Caldwell's exclusive cigar maker at Caldwell's new factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. There are two main differences now though. They have been repackaged with new bands and 25ct boxes. And Caldwell has added some larger ring gauges.
